Peter Sullivan — Managing Director
Mr. Sullivan has worked with Argus since 2002. During the period, he has participated in or led many engagements as COO, CFO or financial advisor related to divestitures, turnarounds, credit re-financings and financial restructurings.
Multiple years of experience involving engagements spanning multiple industries including plastics, communications, chemical processing, food service, insurance servicing, education, biochemical products, aerospace products, furniture, vending technology, franchise management, cargo handling, de-icing services, environmental services, business to consumer parts supplier, lumber products and clothing retail. Focus has been on stabilization of clients' cash usage and management - proven success in right-sizing company support structure and generating cash from non-performing assets.
Specific engagements have included the following:
Partsearch Technologies Inc. — served as Assistant Restructuring Officer/CFO in the re-start of a business-to-consumer parts supplier - required management of relationships with parts suppliers/creditors and technical/financial personnel as well as interaction with potential buyers during the due diligence and negotiation stages of an effective sale process.
Specialty Filaments Inc. — served as Financial Advisor and Interim CFO of a filament supplier - involved identification and disposition of non-core business segments and facilities, and refinancing of the business - required management of relationships with primary investors, financial lenders, negotiations with creditors and debt restructuring.
G.V. Moore Lumber — served as Financial Advisor to the CEO and CFO of a building materials supplier - required examination and rationalization of the multi-location footprint - resulted in closing/disposing of non-performing locations and consolidating business service centers, and eventual sale of the primary business.
Altrio Communications — served as Financial Advisor and Interim CFO of triple play service provider in the Cable TV, Broadband and Telephony marketplace - involved successful stabilization, operation and sale of a crisis situation.
Gitto-Global — required the operation of the company within Chapter 11 and resulted in the successful sale of the business.
ACT — served as Financial Advisor and Interim CFO of classroom-based career training provider - resulted in stabilization of crisis situation.
Background
Mr. Sullivan received a BS in Accounting (summa cum laude) and a MBA in Finance (magna cum laude) from Babson College. He is a Certified Management Accountant.
