Pedro Arellano has extensive experience providing financial advisory services to companies in financially distressed situations, secured lenders, debtors, and unsecured creditor committees. His experience includes advising secured lenders and under-performing companies in complex debt restructurings and financings. He has advised companies in a wide range of industries including manufacturing, heavy construction, retail, and transportation. Pedro has considerable experience working with distressed companies to address liquidity issues, implement cost containment solutions and rationalization plans, and develop short-term and long-term business plans. Pedro has also worked with companies on assessing near-term liquidity needs and evaluating alternative financing solutions. Pedro’s representative engagements on behalf of companies in out-of-court restructurings and Chapter 11 cases have included The Spring Air Company, O’Sullivan Industries, Inc., Enesco Group, Inc., CFI Manufacturing (d.b.a. Carter Grandle), Havens Steel Company, Wilsons The Leather Experts, The San Francisco Music Box Company, and Trans World Airlines. Pedro’ experience with official unsecured creditors’ committees include Fedders Corporation, Metalforming Technologies, Inc., Kmart Corporation, and Clark Retail Enterprises.
