Ken Keiffer — Managing Director
Ken has nearly twenty five years experience in organizations ranging from Fortune 500 technology corporations to startup companies in the Distribution, Construction, Pharmaceutical Device, Aerospace, Telecom, and Commercial Real Estate industries. He has served as Divisional CFO, VP of Corporate Development, Corporate Controller, and Mfg Manager in domestic and international operations and has led several system implementations in a variety of organizations.
Specific engagements have included the following:
Pitman Company — A $450M distributor of equipment and consumable supplies to the commercial, wide format, and packaging industry. Served as financial advisor to the President providing operations and financial management services through the development of a restructuring plan.
GPX International Tire — - A $500M distributor of specialty Off-The-Road tires with Mfg in the US and China and a worldwide distribution network. Served as financial advisor to CEO through the reverse merger and sale of the business through a 363 transaction.
First Wind — A wind energy company focused on the development, ownership and operation of wind energy projects. Served as interim Director, FP&A. Managed the budget, cost control, and cash flow forecasting for $700M annual construction budget and managed the implementation of Hyperion Consolidation and Business Intelligence systems.
Pierre Foods — Food processor and distributor with revenues of $600M. Served as financial advisor to CEO focused on improving profitability through Mfg reorganization, cost controls, and price increase initiatives.
Bacon Whitney — A national distributer of food and beverage products to the vending industry. Served as Corporate Controller through the carve-out and startup of operations as an independent company. Managed the implementation of the ERP and cash controls and forecast processes.
Experience prior to Argus included:
Renaissance Mark — A $140M offset printer and distributor of labels to the Food and Beverage industries with domestic and international Mfg and distribution operations. Served as a member of the turnaround team through the restructuring of operations, completion of past due audits, and sale of the business.
LINC.NET, Inc. — A $500M rollup of 10 construction companies providing network infrastructure construction and maintenance services to the Telecom and Utilities industries. Served as VP of Corporate Development and Divisional CFO. Led post acquisition integration process including implementation of common ERP, cash management, and financial reporting and control systems.
VUTEk — A leader in the design, build, and worldwide distribution of grand format digital printers and ink with revenue of approximately $140m and operations in the US, Belgium, and Shanghai. Served as Corporate Controller and Director of Business Systems. implemented financial systems and infrastructure in preparation for the sale of the business. Served as member of sale transaction and integration team.
Millipore Corporation — A Publicly traded Fortune 500 manufacturer of high tech separation products for the medical, pharmaceutical, and industrial markets. Served as Plant Controller and Finance Manager for centralized distribution center. Served on a cross functional team focusing on Mfg cost and process improvement, inventory reduction, and financial controls. Served as representative for worldwide Mfg and Distribution on the Oracle ERP implementation team.
